With AmazeWallet you can create a wallet that generates addresses on multiple blockchains. You will have a single ‘EVM’ address (0x…) for AmazeChain, Ethereum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain and every other EVM-compatible chain. You will also have addresses on Bitcoin, Tron and Solana.
How to create a new wallet in AmazeWallet
- If you have no other wallets on the app, click on any tab away from the homepage (chat, wallet etc.)
- OR if you want to create a second wallet, open the sidebar menu by clicking on your profile picture, or by swiping from the left, and click the Add (+) button. You can also click on your wallet name under the Wallet tab and click Add
- Select Create wallet
- Enter a name for your wallet
- Enter a strong password*
- Re-enter your password
- Read and confirm the safety checks and click next
- Choose the seed phrase length**
- Remember your seed phrase and click next
- Recall your seed phrase correctly and click next
- Congratulations!
How to import a wallet with AmazeWallet
To import a wallet previously created:
- If you have no other wallets on the app, click on any tab away from the homepage (chat, wallet etc.)
- OR if you already have a wallet, open the sidebar menu by clicking on your profile picture, or by swiping from the left, and click the Add (+) button. You can also click on your wallet name under the Wallet tab and click Add
- Select Import Wallet
- Choose the seed phrase length**
- Enter your previously-created seed phrase and click next***
- Enter a name for your wallet
- Enter a strong password
- Re-enter your password
- Congratulations!
You can also import a previously-created wallet using the same process.
* Note: A strong password is usually 8 random characters or more, with symbols, numbers, and letters (both upper and lower case). Try to avoid common words, patterns (1212) or sequential characters (1111). Please make sure to store your password securely.
** Note: A seed phrase, also called a mnemonic or secret phrase, is a randomly-generated series of words (out of a possible list of 2048). Seed phrases grant the user the ability to import the wallet, view the balance, and make transactions. You must keep your phrase safe, because if someone else has access, they can access your funds. *** Note: You can also import your keystore, via Manage Wallet. Seed phrases generated on AmazeWallet will always work. Seed phrases previously generated on other wallet applications may not work.
